Prof. Dr. C. Dharmalingam (Ph.D., CAL; Post-Doctorate, Sweden; FISST) is the Founder of HITRON Herbal Seed Coat Private Limited and one of India's distinguished Seed Technologists. He served for more than 35 years in the Department of Seed Science and Technology at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, where he contributed extensively to teaching, research, and the advancement of seed science.
Throughout his academic career, his research focused on seed deterioration control, seed invigoration, physiological seed quality, and storage longevity. His scientific work provided the foundation for the development of HITRON's innovative seed enhancement technologies and advanced herbal seed coating formulations.
His pioneering studies on oxidative seed deterioration and molecular stabilization inspired the development of HITRON's proprietary halogenation-based seed enhancement approach. His vision continues to guide the company's commitment to scientific excellence, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development.
Today, his decades of research remain the cornerstone of HITRON's product development and technological advancement.
Mr. Arvind Dharmalingam leads HITRON Herbal Seed Coat Private Limited with a vision of transforming scientific research into practical agricultural solutions. As Managing Director, he oversees the company's strategic planning, business development, manufacturing operations, research initiatives, and international expansion.
Under his leadership, HITRON has strengthened its modern manufacturing capabilities, enhanced its research and development infrastructure, and expanded its presence in both domestic and international markets.

Ms. Priyamalya Arvind represents the next generation of innovation at HITRON. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Design from the University for the Creative Arts, United Kingdom, and an MSc in Additive Manufacturing from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
With expertise in advanced materials, product design, and manufacturing technologies, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to the development of next-generation seed coating polymers and sustainable material solutions.
Her focus includes product innovation, research collaboration, advanced material development, and expanding HITRON's global technology portfolio. Through her fresh perspective and commitment to innovation, she supports the company's mission of delivering world-class seed enhancement solutions for modern agriculture.
